Glenn Rollans is a consultant in book publishing and related areas. He has spent most of his career in publishing: as editor-in-chief at Lone Pine Publishing, then director of the University of Alberta Press, as a partner in Les Editions Duval/Duval House Publishing, and general manager of Thomson Duval. Glenn has taken the Radcliffe Publishing Procedures Course from Harvard University, and the Banff Centre’s Publishing Workshop. Glenn has also moonlighted as co-director of the Business of Publishing program at the University of Chicago, as well as Director of the Banff Centre’s Publishing Program, and is a former board member of the Book Publishers Association of Alberta, Access Copyright, the Canadian Educational Resources Council, and the Alberta Cultural Industries Association. As an instructor, he specializes in the business of publishing.
